The Jaxx mission is simple: build a better person by playing lacrosse. We strive to breakdown barriers that hold players back from reaching their full individual potential– whatever that potential may be.
We know that not every player is a Mikey Powell. We know that not every player can or will play for Notre Dame or Maryland. We do work to improve player skills to reach their individual maximum potential for playing this game. From that, a player can find their best place in post-high school play.
We offer exposure. Players will get to play in front of top D1 recruiting coaches as well as Minnesota club coaches. It is our desire that players find themselves and how they fit into the college lacrosse scene. We want players to find the college program that is the right fit for them – not for us.
The Jaxx organization will be making some significant changes in the the team and tournament structure beginning in August 2012.
New options will help make playing on the Jaxx even more afforable and fit better into family schedules.
After some consultation with NCAA coaches, Jaxx is will be adapting a more open-style roster similar to a couple of the east-coast lacrosse clubs.
