Lacrosse of Minnesota

The Stillwater Area Lacrosse program was started in 2003. The program began with a youth clinic taught in the summer of 2003, which introduced lacrosse to boys aged 6-12 in a summer hockey camp. The equipment used in the program was part of a starter kit from US Lacrosse.

By the summer of 2004, teams were formed at the 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8 levels, and Stillwater played other East Metro clubs.

The sport has gained popularity since that time, and the Stillwater Area Lacrosse Association continues to grow.
