Lacrosse of Minnesota

The Minnesota Elite Lacrosse program was established over 10 years ago to offer highly competitive student/athletes an opportunity within a select program to strive for their personal best. Our coaches experience and proven track record is a tremendous asset in helping place student/athletes on the right path to their future. We strive to not only help the player develop, but to assist in the recruiting process of finding the right school for each player (academics then athletics). 

Our mission is to provide the highest level of coaching, training, and competition to the best lacrosse players in the state of Minnesota with the opportunity to play college lacrosse while earning a valuable college education. 

The Minnesota Elite lacrosse program was formed for one reason: To see how Minnesota lacrosse players faired against the best teams outside of Minnesota. Once proved that we could compete, we then hoped to get our players seen by college coaches and recruited to play college lacrosse. Since our inception in 2003, the Minnesota Elite has placed over 90 players on college lacrosse programs all over the country. We have produced 5 all Ivy players, 5 Collegiate All-America selections, and 6 team captains. In 2010, 4 players from our very first Elite team participated in the NCAA tournament. Three of those players were also selected to the NCAA North – South Game (All Star) from their prospective divisions. We have players who have or are currently playing D1 for Dartmouth, Cornell, Yale, Harvard, Denver, Air Force, Navy, John's Hopkins, Colgate, Lafayette, Delaware, Michigan, Scared Heart, Lehigh, and Quinnipiac. We have also placed many players in excellent D3 programs such as RPI, Dennison, Haverford, Gettysburg, and Middlebury just to name a few. Elite Alumni can also be found playing professional lacrosse, two of them right here in Minnesota on the Minnesota Swarm!

2011 brought the most success our program has seen with 50% of our players on our U17 team recruited. We are also thrilled to announce we have 2 players from our U16 team already making verbal commitments to Duke and Denver. No other program in Minnesota has come close to our placement record.

We take great pride in our success. As a staff, we are dedicated to providing the best level of instruction, while assisting players in helping them reach their dream of playing college lacrosse. For us, this is not just a summer organization, but a year round drive to make sure we are helping in any way possible in the recruiting and tournament selection process. We are now being invited to some of the top summer camps across the country. The Minnesota Elite lacrosse program has made a major impact in the college lacrosse community, and we continue to strive to make sure our reputation grows year after year.

TRYOUT DATES:

June 9th: 12:30pm - 5:30pm

June 10th: 10:00am. - 3:00pm

Location: BENILDE ST. MARGARETS HIGH SCHOOL

All players must register online to tryout. Walk up registrations will not be accepted. Please bring a water bottle and full gear to tryouts.

All selected players will be required to attend a mandatory team meeting accompanied by a parent or guardian June 11th at 7:00pm. More information will be given at the time of selection annoucements.
